Here comes the sun!

On a gloriously sunny morning, the U7's were bristling with energy and were soon charging around getting ready for some rugby.

some of the kids had obviously been watching the 6 Nations as when we introduced sidesteps for the first time, they took to it like Jonathan Joseph to the Welsh defensive line! You would have thought they'd been doing it for years - it must have been Duncan's demonstration!!

While playing practice matches at the end, it was great to see how they've all come on since the start of the season - using teammates, passing the ball before getting trapped and holding their defensive lines - well, most of the time... They all did really well and it was a great pleasure to stand back a bit and watch them enjoying themselves running with the ball, scoring tries and taking tags.

We haven't given trophies out for a couple of weeks as it's been difficult during joint sessions. However, now we were back at PBL, we could finally reward some effort.

The Scarey trophy was given to a young man who did some great sidesteps, helped his teammates during the matches and always displays rugby's Core Values - well done Arthur!!

We looked back over the last few weeks, and gave the Bowl to a player who has been doing really well; scoring tries, taking tags and getting thoroughly stuck in despite being among "bigger boys" - well done Belle!!

We're down at New Milton this weekend for a triangular session with NM and Eastleigh RFC. Start time is 10am - look forward to seeing you there :)
