What an end to the season!

For the last session of the season, it seemed fitting to let the kids play rugby. After all, that’s why we turn up every week!

After a warm-up, we played some 5-Pass games to get them match ready, and then dived into some round-robin matches. It was so nice to be able to stand back and watch the teams work together both in attack and defence. Players were passing before getting tagged, running into space, calling for the ball - and in defence they were holding their lines, taking tags, resetting formations. Perfect all round!!

What a great end to the season.

When everyone does so well, it makes it really hard to pick out trophy winners. However, a couple did stand out to the coaches.

For taking on a captain’s role and helping his team to great success, Toby was this week’s Scarey trophy winner. Well done Toby!

And for great teamwork, and really exploiting every opportunity to attack and score tries (and he scored loads), this week’s Trophy winner was Will. Well done Will!!
