Future England team?

Our first away fixture of the season, and the kids did themselves proud!

Mixing in with Oakmedians and Lytchet Minster kids didn’t phase our kids at all, and they had huge grins on their faces as they got down to running through some drills and small sided games before getting into ERRFC teams for some end of session matches.

With 5 pitches running, it was difficult to keep exact track of the scores, but it appears we won virtually every match - brilliant!!

While playing (and winning) matches is what it’s all about, player behaviour and Core Values are just as key to ERRFC. All the U7’s staff were incredibly impressed with the attitude and behaviour of the ERRFC players - they were impeccable at all times, even when the opposition weren’t quite playing by the rules! It made us all really proud, and we truly appreciate what a great squad we have!!

We can’t wait for the next fixture :)

Trophies don’t usually get awarded during joint fixtures, but we gave out a couple more England bags. These are given out not just for playing, but for attitude, Core Values etc.

For some great play - and a huge grin - Joey Camp took one of the bags.

And for jumping back into matchplay after having to sit out with a nosebleed, William Hooper took the other bag.

We’ve got quite a few left, so plenty of chances still for kids to win a bag!
