Finished higher than England!

Take a beautiful sunny autumn day, a massive field, and several hundred rugby-playing kids, and you’re in for a pretty good day!

Our squad certainly did us proud. Right from the off, we were running in try after try, taking our first win of the season quite comfortably. The great play continued, with all players getting equal playing time, and starting to really gel as a team - it was great to watch!

At the end of the day, we ended up 2nd in our group, which is a fantastic achievement!! The smiles were huge as medals and certificates were handed out - and that was just the parents and team staff :)

Can I just take this opportunity to thank all the parents for bringing their kids to New Milton, and showing their support through the day. The “Ellingham & Ringwood Effect” is quite noticeable, with our parents cheering on good play, regardless of whether it was us scoring, or the opposition scoring against us - good play is good play! #CoreValues

I’d also like to thank our staff on the day; Tracy, Jo, Rob, Jon and Adam. Without you all, it wouldn’t have been half as much fun for me - or anywhere near as organised :)
