Stand by your beds...

Unfortunately, the weather went against us again, but at least we’re on the grass at Potterne, which gives us some much more space than the AstroTurf at the Rec.

After working on some passing while moving forwards, we went into playing some matches - the kids have got the hang of rugby now, it’s just a case of fine tuning as we grow as a squad.

You might not have noticed, but we had a visit from our local RFU Community Coach while we were at Potterne. Dean spent some time watching our group, and was very complimentary of the sheer numbers of players, the skill levels and the manner the kids play in. All perfectly in line with England Rugby’s development plan - well done all :)

It’s getting harder and harder each week to pick trophy winners as all the kids have really improved through the season. However, we have to pick a couple out!

For some great running and try scoring, this week, Nehe Milner-Scarey went to Archie. Well done, Archie!

For their general good all-round play and sporting attitude, this week’s trophy winner was Aidan, Well done, Aidan!

We are due to host Tottonians this Sunday, so weather permitting, we’ll get another chance to see how our players fair against another club. We’re not a competitive club by nature, but it’s always nice to see :)
