Week 2?

If we have a 'problem' in Under 8's, then it's a pretty good problem to have - lots of kids and a huge pitch. Due to the pitch size, we only really have space for one pitch and a smaller side pitch. We'll be using the main pitch for match practice and to get the kids used to the extra size and space, and then the smaller side pitch for more specific skills and drills.

Some of the side pitch skills and drills may look a bit random, but there is method in our madness, and they're all geared towards improving handling, spatial awareness, coordination, teamwork etc.

You could see more confidence in a lot of the kids this week - new and old alike. Despite all this extra confidence and the great play on display, this week's trophy winners were a bit easier.

Scarey - another newbie took Scarey this week. For really getting stuck in, playing well and scoring tries, this week Scarey went to Samuel.
