We were due to be at Oakmedians last Sunday, but the Council decided the pitches were unfit after the torrential downpours of Saturday night. Finding this out at 8.30am Sunday was...errr....interesting!
If you didn't get the message that we we're switching back to PBL, apologies, we did our best with the limited time available. Perhaps you could confirm your contact details to Jo?
The heavy rain might have dampened the pitch, but it didn't dampen our spirits! We quickly got some drills squared away and got down to the serious business of playing proper rugby matches.
Moving off the quickly forming quagmire to some grass helped the kids get traction, and they were off - running in tries, pulling tags off left, right and centre.
While they all did really well, one player stood out as a star performer - she also stood out with possibly the brightest ever pink fleece on. No discussion, and the quickest unanimous decision ever, this week's trophy winner was Isabelle. Well done, Isabelle!!
