Our 2nd XV strengthened their position at the top of Dorset and Wiltshire Counties Division 3 with an impressive 22-46 bonus point away win against Oakmeadians 2nd XV at Meyrick Park on Saturday.

Our number 8 Brad Thomas and lock forward Sam Linford both scored two tries, with the others coming from Kjalt Wilmar, Corben Hills, Tyler Grant and Danny Dickson. Corben Hills also kicked four conversions.

We were cheered on by a large crowd, including our loyal supporter Nick Holroyd, who was celebrating his 50th birthday. Nick is pictured with the whole squad after they'd sung happy birthday to him at the final whistle. In the clubhouse there was a birthday cake to complete the celebrations, which Nick appreciated, but he commented that there was better hot chocolate served at Parsonage Barn Lane.
