You've probably noticed that last week, solar panels were installed on the roof of our clubhouse. This is the result of generous sponsorship from Simon and Clare Banks from the Verwood firm Smart Home Technical Ltd. Going forward, this will save the club a significant amount of money on our electricity costs, as well as helping us achieve our objective of being as 'green' as possible.

We are also very grateful to Ringwood Scaffolding, who provided the scaffolding to us free of charge.

I'm sure many of you will know Simon and Clare. Simon plays for our 3rd XV and their daughter plays in our girl's section. They also support the club in a variety of other ways including paying for a pitch side signboard, sponsoring a set of girl's shirts, carrying out electrical work at the club and installing our big screen that we watch international matches on.
