It was great to see rugby back at Parsonage Barn Lane on Saturday, when the club's annual memorial game was played, albeit four months later than usual due to the pandemic.
The annual fixture started some years ago as a memorial to both the Verwood player Nick Carlyon and Ellingham and Ringwood's Freddie Dibben - and it was good to see members of both families on the touchline.
This year the fixture was also a memorial to the club's former bar manager Ted Leigh and former 1st XV captain Bryan Tanner, both of whom were sadly victims of the pandemic.
