A fantastic performance from the girls saw them run out convincing winners against a strong Trojans side 57-0
Starting strongly, Ellingham were on the front foot early as Cerys Ralph scored a well worked try down the left wing. Alicia Maude converted that to make it 7-0. Cerys was to be a constant threat to the opposition and eventually scored 3 tries in all.
Ellingham dominated possession through exceptional work at the breakdown and as the game progressed found more and more holes in the opposition defence and increasing space out wide. Special mention to Jaz Rampton (pictured) who played her first game at fly half and looked increasingly comfortable and assured in the role as the game went on. It is difficult to pick out any single member of the forwards as they worked exceptionally well together as a pack, but Eve Couling (prop) did crash over late on for her first try in this age group and Dayna Strongman added the conversion.
