It is with deep regret that we have to announce that Joan Poole, the wife of our former Chairman John Poole, sadly passed away last Sunday after a short illness.

Joan's sons Andrew and Steve both played for the club and her daughter Kerry coached some of our mini rugby sides. Her grandson Jack also played for our Mini and Junior Academy before moving to Bournemouth.

Joan was a great supporter of the club and of Irish Rugby - and many of us have great memories of time spent with Joan on trips to international games at Twickenham and in Dublin and Paris.

Joan worked for many years at Boscombe Hospital in Bournemouth with both Rose Finney, Claire Sarel and Marian Benson.
