On a pitch built for the sport's superstars our women performed at the highest level last Saturday. The Ellies faced strong opposition from around the country and demonstrated how far the squad has developed in the last year. They finished second and could have taken the trophy after leading the winners by 12 points at one stage. Although the players were disappointed to miss the top of the podium by a single score they won the day with their enthusiasm and great attitude.
